Why We Fundraise
Funds raised through our primary fundraiser, the Jog-a-thon/Junior Jog-a-thon event, allow the CCPA to provide Enrichment for our students.
In addition to the Jog-a-thon, the CCPA also facilitates several other means to support our organization and raise funds for our initiatives. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Employer Matching Gift & Volunteer Contribution Programs– Amgen, Bank of America, and many other employers offer this benefit to their employees. With minimal effort, these programs can significantly increase monetary donations to the CCPA.
- Corporate Sponsorship & Donations– We offer a tiered Sponsorship program for businesses. Sponsorship includes a variety of Advertising Opportunities as well as tax deduction benefits.
- Soft Fundraising– Restaurant Nights, Shopping Partnerships, Birthday Marquee, Book Fair, etc. allow us to raise funds with minimum hassle.
- Grants- Funds raised through Grants are usually specific to a certain need, i.e. Arts, Technology, Environmental improvements, etc.
These fundraising efforts make it possible for us to provide a variety of Enrichment Events for our students throughout the school year. These events include social learning events like our annual Hunger Awareness & Action Week; Hands-on science based learning at Discovery Day (primary); Exposure to culture, art, science and social learning through Special Assemblies (elementary).
Donations to the CCPA also allow us to provide enhancements to Carden Conejo School that the parents and school administration deem important and necessary. This includes the procurement of new technology, playground improvements, campus functionality & beautification, and much more.
