Assistant Principal at Carden Conejo School

In 2009 Mrs. Flavin joined Carden Conejo as the Upper Grade Science Specialist. In the fall of 2014, she was appointed to the role of Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Flavin began her teaching career with the Los Angeles Unified School District in 1995.  She worked as a homeroom teacher in second through sixth grade teaching all of the core subjects. She served as a Master Teacher, a Mentor Teacher and Lead Teacher. She frequently delivered professional development workshops at the school and mini-district levels on meeting the needs of second language learners, the writing process, classroom management and math techniques.  At Carden Conejo, Mrs. Flavin is responsible for ensuring the curriculum is challenging and relevant.  She works with the teachers to provide necessary materials and training.  Mrs. Flavin is also here to support the parents.  So should you have any questions or concerns, Mrs. Flavin is here to help.
